Our client is a well known Government Department and they are currently seeking an experienced .Net / Sharepoint Application Developer to join their team. This is a 12 month contract position starting 5 July 2010 through until 30 June 2011. All applicants must be Australian Citizens with the ability to obtain a Top Secret Security Clearance.
Our client is a well known Government Department and they are currently seeking an experienced .Net / Sharepoint Application Developer to join their team. This is a 12 month contract position starting 5 July 2010 through until 30 June 2011. All applicants must be Australian Citizens with the ability to obtain a Top Secret Security Clearance.
Primary Roles:- In conjunction with managers, prioritise, analyse and complete tasks according to the nature and urgency of the request.
- Maintain data and office security and system integrity in accordance with Departmental Security Instructions.
- Provide first through third level support for .NET and SharePoint applications.
- Liaise with System Administrators for application and implementation management.
- Advise management on technical best practice.
- Ensure that the tasks and progressive action history are duly recorded and concluded to the client's satisfaction.
Skills Required:At least 5 years experience in the development of solutions in Microsoft environments with a thorough understanding of ASP.NET, C#/.Net(3.5).2 Years development experience in SharePoint environments.Good understanding in using application development tools and framework including Visual Studio 2008/2010, Team Foundation Server, InfoPath, Windows Workflow Foundation, .Net Framework 3.5,.Experience of using Javascript, Jquery and Silverlight while developing applications.
